Ronald Lee Walton, 46, of Terre Haute died Sunday, Oct. 13, 1996, in his residence. He was a desk clerk with Mid-Town Motel. He was born March 7, 1950, in Terre Haute to John Robert Walton and Mary Burns Walton. Survivors include his wife, RoseMary Liva Walton; his mother of Brazil; two sons, Brian Walton and Tom Walton, both of Terre Haute; three daughters, Jean Walton, Cheryl Walton and Mary Ann Walton, all of Terre Haute; one sister, Jackie Webster of Terre Haute; two brothers, Donald Walton and Richard Walton, both of Terre Haute; his mother-in-law, Rita Liva of West Terre Haute; one grandchild expected; several brothers-in-law; several sisters-in-law; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father on Nov. 18, 1994; and his father-in-law, Robert Liva on Sept. 4, 1991. He was formerly employed as a mail handler at the U.S. Postal Annex, an electronic technician with Navy Avionics in Indianapolis and a repairman with Sears Roebuck and Co. He was a volunteer at Clay County Community Theater and member of Veterans of Foreign Wars in Brazil, and Seelyville United Methodist Church. Memorial Mass is 9 a.m. today in St. Joseph Catholic Church, with the Rev. Martin Day officiating. Services are 11 a.m. today in Mattox-Wood North Terre Haute Chapel, with the Revs. Martin Day and Stanley Howell officiating. Cremation is scheduled, with burial in Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
