He was memeber of the Church of Christ, the Home Guard during World War 1 and lived in Pratt for the past 60 years. He had worked with Bettis Ice Company, Eubank Gas and Oil service, collected scrap iron, and did yard work in his later years. He loved to play cards, and dominos, he kept Ott's in businees. Lots of his friends gathered there daily, they called it their office.
Survivors include: widow of the home, sons; Glenn, and Cecil; daughters, Hazel, Mildred, and Juanita: a brother, Lester, and 8 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
A daaughter Esther Smith, preceded him in death
Services were held Thursday, June 10, 1976 at the Church of Christ, ministering, Monte Ginnings. Burial was at the Greenlawn Cemetery, Pratt, Williams Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
