Funeral services for Mrs. Maurice (Florence) Anderson, 51, of Valley City, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Our Saviors Lutheran Church with Rev. James Hanson officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery.
Florence Pfaff was born July 24, 1919 in Barnes County, near Litchville, ND, the daughter of John and Caroline Pfaff. She received her education and was raised to womanhood there. She moved to Valley City where she was employed. She was married to Maurice Anderson on October 13, 1949 at Valley City.

Besides her husband she leaves her mother, Mrs. John Pfaff of Litchville; four sons, Arnold and Gary, both of Valley City, James in South Carolina, and Russell with the Navy in Maryland; two daughters, Mrs. Frank (Shirley) Score of rural Moorhead, MN, and Mrs. Charles (Beverly) Gibson of Janesville, Wisconsin; four brothers, Anton and George both of rural Valley City; Edward of Litchville and Everett of Hastings, ND; three sisters, Mrs. Lee (Catherine) Hartman of Kulm, ND, Mrs. Walter (Irene) Friske of Everett, Washington, and Mrs. Meg (Ione) Harrington of Cavour, SD; and 11 grandchildren.
