Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Texline Cemetery.
Mr. Higgins was born May 15, 1919, in Hereford to Albert and Salla Jackson Higgins. He married Ira Jeanner Ricketts on Oct. 20, 1940, in Hereford.
Survivors include four daughters, Donna Milam, Sandra Dixon, Carolyn Fry and Jonnie Sue McDonald; a brother, John Higgins; a sister, Wilma Sheets; 11 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and special friend, Adela Hernandez.
The family suggests memorials be to Christian Relief Fund, P.O. Box 19670, Amarillo, TX 79114-1670; or a favorite charity.
