Services will be at 2 p.m. CST today in Texline Church of Christ with Mark Batteiger officiating. Burial will be in Texline Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, N.M.
Mr. Higgins was born May 15, 1916, in Hereford to Albert Sidney and Salla Jackson Higgins. He married Kathryn F. Hamm on Oct. 1, 1944, in Hereford.
Survivors include his wife, Kathryn F. Higgins of Dalhart; two sons, Don Higgins of Lubbock and David Higgins of Texline; 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister, Wilma Sheets of Amarillo; and two brothers, Howard Higgins of Hereford and John Higgins of Limon, Colo.
