Mrs. Brown died August 31, 2011 at her home. She was born June 13, 1959 in Overton County to Stanley Ruffin and Agnes Geneva Booher Carter. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Dennis Brown; daughter, Amanda Taylor of Rickman; son, Christian Brown of Rickman; parents, Stanley & Geneva Carter of Monroe; sister, Jean Jolley of Rickman; brothers, Dr. Willie Joe Carter of Houston, TX, Jimmy Carter of Livingston, Dr. Johnnie Carter of Athens, TN, and Stanley Carter Jr. of Monroe; and 2 granddaughters, Emily and Evelyn Taylor.
She is preceded in death by a son, Jonathan Corey Phipps
