Benjamin F. Nunemaker, Jr., 79, of 142 S. Third Ave, Coatesville, died Saturday in Brandywine Hospital, Caln after a six-month illness. He was the husband of Alice Trythall Nunemaker.
Born in Rock Run, he was the son of the late Benjamin F. and Florence Riley Nunemaker.
He lived in Coatesville his entire life, and retired from Lukens Steel in 1974. He was a first helper in the open hearth and electric melt shop, and had 34 years with the company.
He was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Coatesville, and the Lukens Veterans Guild.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow in the Robert A. Harris Funeral Home, Coatesville, where friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Coatesville.
