Also surviving are two daughters, Shirley Reed (companion: Chris Smith) of Fort Wayne and Jenny Pearson (husband: Steve) of Camden; two sons, Tony Kemp (wife: Beverly) of Francesville and Terry Kemp (wife: Melissa German) of Lafayette and 9 grandchildren.
He was a Vietnam War veteran, serving in the U.S. Marine Corps. He received the Purple Heart.
