Charles "Ray" Kemp, 83, of Parkwood Healthcare Center, Lebanon, died at 7:36 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, 2009, in Witham Memorial Hospital, Lebanon.
He was born in Kokomo, Indiana to the late Joseph and Gladys Mosier Kemp. He married Eva Mae Hulsey on Dec. 19, 1969, in Wells County. She died Dec. 7, 2007.
Suviving are a son, Charles R. Kemp Jr. and a sister, Shirley Horn of Rossville and a grandson, Carl Kemp.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Danny Kemp, a daughter, Joyce Ann Kemp, and a brother, Robert F. Kemp.
He was a part-time police officer in Fort Shawnee, Ohio.
