In early girlhood she became a member of the Methodist church of Strang. She received her education in the public schools of Fillmore county.
December 2, 1908, she was united in marriage to William Reichert at the home of her parents by Rev. J. Bruce Wylie. To this union were born three children, a daughter, Velma (Mrs. Orville Swenson) of Longmont, Col., and two sons, Vergil W. of Geneva, and Herbert M. of Seattle, Wash.
She leaves to mourn her passing her husband William, and her three children, Velma, Vergil and Herbert, one sister, Mrs. Merton Durham of Deshler, and two brothers, Marion of Wichita, Kas., and Verlie of Belleville, Kas. She also leaves eight grandchildren. Her parents and one brother, Milton, preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held at the Hrubesky-Farmer funeral home in Geneva at 2:30 p. m. Wednesday, august 29. Dr. F. E. Pfoutz officiated. Mrs. H. A. Rosenau of Geneva was soloist, with Mrs. Willard Foster as accompanist. Pallbearers were Earl Houck, Harold Houck, Merritt Hedden, Ronzo Hedden, Lester Trapp and Lloyd Reichert. Interment was in the Geneva cemetery.
