Mrs. Rose Etta Cole, 63, of Mabscott, died Thursday in a Beckley hospital after a long illness.
Born Dec. 29, 1915 in Blacksburg, VA, she was a daughter of the late Sherman and Mollie Short McKinney.
Mrs. Cole was a retired nurse from the Pinecrest Hospital and a member of the First Baptist Church in Mabscott.
Survivors include her husband, Walter Earl Cole, Sr. of Mabscott; two sons, Walter Earl Cole, Jr of Denville, NJ and Thomas Cole of Albany, Ga; one daughter, Mrs. Angelo (Frances) Gilletto of Kissimmee, Fla; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be Monday at 11am in the Melton Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. L. A. Garten in charge. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
