Macon, Ga. - Walter Earl Cole, 83, of 5445 Cartwright Place, died Friday at 9:30pm in Macon of natural causes.
Born Sept, 12, 1910, at Woodpeck, he was a son of the late Walter G. and Cora Lee Walker Cole.
Mr. Cole was a retired coal miner and a member of the First Baptist Church in Beckley.
Mr. Cole was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Etta Cole on April 12, 1979.
Survivors include two sons; Walter Earl Cole, Jr. of South Orange, NJ and Thomas Cole of Macon, Ga; a daughter, Mrs. Angelo (Frances) Gilletto of Kissimmee, FL, and a sister, Mozell Maynor of Wellsboro, Pa; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
