McMANIGAL - On Monday, July 28, 1894, at her home in Blair, Nebr., of Brights disease of the Kidneys, Mrs. Dolinn, wife of James McManigal, aged84.

Mrs. McManigal came to Nebraska with her husband and family in 1864, just after the War, before there were railroads west traversing Iowa or Nebraska, and before Blair was thought of. She was an industrious and hard working woman, and endured the hardships and privations of frontier life, which have plainly told her health the past few years. Naturally strong and robust she finally became broken down, and for two years past has become a great sufferer.

Her father was Alex Carter, Sr. and she leaves three brothers and two sister, residents of the county, besides six living children to mourn her death.

Mrs. McManigal was well known throughout the county, especially by the old settlers, and her funeral, Wednesday at 2 o'clock, was very largely attended by relatives and friends. The services were held at the house, The Rev. Campbell of the U. B. Church, of which she was a member, officiating, assisted by Rev. Lang of the same church, and Rev. Jas. Sheppard of the Baptist Church.
