BECHTEL, Clinton Passed away, August 21, 2011 at Fairview Mennonite Home, Cambridge, Ontario. He was born in Wilmot Township 91 years ago, a son of the late Owen and Melissa Bechtel. Beloved husband of the late Hilda (Wagler) Bechtel who predeceased him September 11, 2005. Dear father of Doris and Graham Martin of Mitchell; Linda Worth of Waterloo; Joanne Jantzi and John Regier of Kitchener, Gordon Bechtel of Elmira and Ralph and Lorraine Bechtel of Kitchener. Remembered by brother Lloyd (Beatrice) and sisters Mary (Ken) Willsie and Avon Brophy, sister-in-law Bertie Bechtel, Eileen Hurst and Miriam Wagler, ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Pre-deceased by sisters Ruby, Elsie (Edwin Eby) brothers Leonard (Nora), Delford (Pearl), Eldon. Brother-in-law Joe Brophy. The family will receive friends at Fairview Mennonite Home, 515 Langs Dr., Cambridge, Wednesday, August 24, 2011 from 2-4 p.m. and then at Westmount Funeral Home 7-9 p.m. A committal service will be held at the Mannheim Mennonite Church Cemetery. A service to celebrate Clint's life will be held at the Mannheim Mennonite Church, 1494 Bleams Road (Ottawa St. S., 1 km west of Mannheim) on August 25, 2011 at 11 a.m., Pastor Ruth Laverty officiating. In lieu of flowers donations to the House of Friendship, Mannheim Mennonite Church or Fairview Mennonite Home may be made by calling the funeral home at 519-743-8900.
