After the death of Bartly she married her 1st cousin (James Whitfield). They had one child Francis Appalona Whitfield. He was 22 years younger than her. Her name was Angeline Philomena Whitfield Garhan Whitfield.
FAMILY STORY: When she ran off to marry Bartly Garhan she locked the dogs in an old log kitchen so they wouldn't bark and wake her father.
She is buried in an unmaked grave.
