Ernest 'Ernie' Kranz, 64, of Dryden Township, rural Gaylord, died Sunday, March 26, 2006, at his home.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 28, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gaylord. Burial will be in the church cemetery with full military honors.
Visitation will be 2 8 p.m. on Monday and from 7:30 8 a.m. on Tuesday at the Egesdal Funeral Home in Gaylord. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.
He is survived by his wife, Darlene of Gaylord; children, Robin Rotchadl of North Mankato, Jacob Kranz of Gaylord, Nathan Kranz of Gaylord, Shannon Kranz of Arlington, Marshall Kranz of Arlington, James Kranz of Lake City, Naomi Kranz of Bloomington, Tyler Kranz of Arlington, Jesse Kranz of Gaylord, and Andrea Koller of LeSueur; sisters, Lorayne Freyholtz of Blackduck, Arlene Jacobson of Lakeville, Cheyenne Bernstein of Arlington, And Virginia Briard of Frazee; brothers, Roger Kranz of Gaylord, Byron Kranz of Gaylord, Steve Kranz of Randall, Hans Kranz or Gaylord, and Luther Kranz of Henderson.
