Jacobson, Arlene L. (Kranz) died peacefully on September 27th at the age of 85. She was surrounded by her family at her home in Prior Lake, MN. Arlene was born on October 11th in 1937 in the town of Nicollet, MN. She was one of 10 siblings living on their family farm, Arlene being the 2nd oldest. Early on she was taught to love the Lord Jesus, her Savior. She married the love of her life, Gene Jacobson of Winthrop, MN, in June of 1957. They enjoyed 65 years of married life until Gene's passing in November of 2022. Arlene loved being a mother and wife and her greatest pleasure was managing a household and caring for her family.

She loved to serve and did it with joy. If not in her kitchen, you would often find her in her garden where she produced an abundance of vegetables, often shared with family and neighbors. With age, her faith became stronger and she easily proclaimed the goodness of God. She would often say "Jesus likes me!" and she would talk to her Lord as though they were best friends. Her greatest witness came when she received the diagnosis of terminal lung cancer and she chose to live out her life without treatment as she knew she would soon be in Heaven with her Lord.

Arlene is survived by her 6 children, 21 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. Daughters Vanessa Conner (Mike) of Nowthen, MN, Gretchen Satterlund (Jim) of Owatonna, MN, Rebecca Kruse (Kevin) of Lakeville, MN, Rachel Meyer (Doug) of Glencoe, MN, Victoria Boswell of Inver Grove Heights, MN, and son Grant Jacobson (Beth) of Lakeville, MN. She is also survived by sisters Cheyenne Bernstein (Jerry) of Arlington, MN, Virginia Briard (Robert) of Frazee, MN, sisters-in-law Connie Kranz, Sharon Kranz, Darlene Kranz, Michelle Kranz, Shirley Kranz and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, 6 brothers, 1 sister, son-in-law Michael Boswell, and an infant great granddaughter.

Funeral Service will be held 1 PM on Monday, October 2, 2023 at MN Valley Church, 16075 Hawthorn Path, Lakeville, with a visitation on Sunday (10/1) from 7-9 PM at the White Funeral Home, Lakeville, (952-469-2723) also one-half hour prior to service at church, family to greet their guests after service.
