Loretta Isabelle Murray, 82, formerly of Topeka, died Thursday, Jan 16, 2003, at an Overbrook care home. Mrs. Murray was a card reader for Hallmark for many years. She was born July 9, 1920, in Harveyville,Kansas to Orval Henry and Goldie Belle Lister Harden. She lived most of her life in the greater Topeka area before moving to Overbrook two years ago.

She married Frank Lester Murray on May 15, 1936, Alma, Kansas. He survives. Other survivors include two sons, Frank Murray and Larry Murray, both of Topeka; two daughters Sondra Mosher, Florida, and Shirley Claiborne, Newport News, VA; two sisters, Marcella Wunder, Topeka and Lola Patton, Seattle, Washington; three brothers, Robert L. Harden, Rossville, Orval Harden, Manhattan, and Wilbur Harden, North Carolina; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Murray was preceded in death by a grandson, Christopher Dean Murray Jr., on Aug 6, 2002, and a great-grandson, Skyler Graber, on Jan 12, 2003.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesdy at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Murray will be in state at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Tuesday. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m.
