Donald Burns Agnew, 71 of Springfield, VA, died Oct. 28 at Fairfax Hospital, Fairfax, Va.
Mr. Agnew was born Aug. 10, 1919 at Ogden, the son of Dr. T. Lee and Agnes Agnew. He married Joan L. Agnew June of 1969 at Norfolk, Va.
Surviving are a son; two daughters; three brothers, Allen Agnew of Corvallis, Ore., Ted Agnew of Stillwater, Okla., and John Agnew of Wellesley, Md.; and two sisters.
Mr. Agnew, a 1937 graduate of Ogden High School was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church, Springfield, Va. He was an army veteran of World War II.
Mr. Agnew retired in 1981 from the U.S. Department of Agriculture as an economist, after 33 years of service.
Funeral services were held Nov. 2 at Demaine Funeral Home, Springfield, Va.
