Notes from Collins:
After a week's illness with typhoid fever, Mrs. Henry Draheim, passed away at her home in Eaton, three miles from here on Tuesday, Aug. 25, 1914 at 5:30 pm.

Deceased was born in the Town of Meeme on the 25th day of May, 1883 and was but 31 years and 3 months on the day of her untimely demise. A few years after her birth, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H.A. Olm, moved with their children to their present home in the Town of Eaton and here she lived until called to her reward. On December 14, 1905 she was united in marriage with Henry Draheim of Eaton.

Sad and solemn as is the hour of death to us all the passing of one so young seems doubly so, especially to her sorrowing husband, little children, parents, sisters and brothers. She was a dutiful daughter, loving wife, devoted mother and kind sister, never tiring in attending to the welfare and wishes of others and often neglecting her own interests in order that she may be of some service to others.

She leaves to mourn her death, a sorrowing husband, five little children, Herman, John, Henry, Verona and Laura Ruth, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H.Aa. Olm, six sisters and five brothers, besides hosts of relatives and friends. Her funeral took place Friday, August 28 at 2:30 pm from the Lutheran Church in Eaton and Rev. Wm Schlei officiating. The large concourse of friends that accompanied the remains to the church, testified to the esteem in which the young mother was held.

Grief over the passing of one so young, who enjoyed her usual good health a week preceding her demise is universal and the sorrow of the bereaved husband and relatives is shared by many friends.

Among the relatives and friends who attended the funeral were: Mrs. Wm Somers and daughter, Mrs. Ernst Laabs, Colby, Wi.; Wm and Otto Sommers, Thorpe, Wis.; Mrs. J.P. Galles and sister, Mrs. Robt. Dietrech, Little Falls, Min.; Rev and Mrs. Theo Frohne and two sons of Cleveland, Ohio; Rev. and Mrs. R.E. Heschke, Batavia, Wis.; Mr. and Mrs. W.F. Olm and daughter, DePere; Mr. and Mrs. F. Olm and family and mother; Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Olm, Meeme; Mr. and Mrs. Gust J. Olm and family, Reedsville; Mr. and Mrs. Will Draheim, Greenwood, Wis.; Mrs. Ferd Draheim, Marshfield; Mr and Mrs. Ed Siemers; Mr and Mrs. Chas Berg; Mr. and Mrs. Geo Meyer; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Simers; Mr. and Mrs. Leon Laack,, all of Meeme; Mr. and Mrs. Ernst Vogelsong and Mr. Emil Waak of Manitowoc; Mr. and Mrs. Wm Buscher and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Kaufman of Franklin, Sheboygan Co.; Mr. and Mrs. Chas Schwalbe, Chilton; Mr. August Draheim, Fond du Lac.

The undersigned wish to express their heartfelt wishes to those who so kindly assisted in their bereavement and loss of a loving wife, devoted mother, dutiful daughter and kind sister, also for the many and beautiful floral offerings of relatives and friends.
