Mrs. K. D. Pigman, a resident of Webster county for many years, died early Saturday morning in the Spencer hospital. The body was brought to Fort Dodge Saturday afternoon and funeral services are to be held this afternoon at 1 o'clock at the home of her son Alva Pigman, half mile south of Evanston and at 1:30 at the Methodist church in Duncombe. The Rev. Sharp of Duncombe will officiate. Burial will be in the Blanchard cemetery.

Final Rites for Mrs. K. D. Pigman

Funeral services for Mrs. K. D. Pigman, 61, who died Friday morning at the Spencer hospital, took place Monday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the home of her son, Alva Pigman, a half mile south of Evanston, and at 1:30 at the Evanston Methodist church. The Rev. Vernon E. Sharp conducted the services and burial was in the Blanchard cemetery, with the Wilder funeral home in charge.

The pallbearers were Frank Crouse, Albert Spike, Lee Smith, Walter Ferguson, John Lowman and Fred Ewing. Mr. and Mrs. Guy Morse of the First Methodist church of Fort Dodge sang two duets during the service, "In the Garden" and "Abide With Me."

Mrs. Pigman is survived by nine children, Alva of Evanston, Clifford of Lehigh, Robert of Hayfield, Minn., Mrs. Leon Leazer of Round Lake, Minn., Dan of Mason City, Elmer of Britt, John of Duncombe, Mrs. Raymond Perkins of Britt and Mrs. Ed Schuman of round Lake, Minn. One sister, Mrs. Hattie McCannon of Linn Grove, and four brothers, Will and Lester Foust of Webb, Ia., Ed of Sioux Rapids and Fred of Duncombe, also survive as do twenty-three grandchildren. Her husband preceded her in death four years ago.
