MRS. BURNET PASSES AWAY.
Widow of Donor of City Park to Be Buried To-day.
Private services for Mrs. Cynthia Munro Burnet, 86, widow of Major John B. Burnet, will be held to-day at her late home, No. 600 Ostrom avenue. She died there yesterday morning.
Mrs. Burnet was a daughter of the late Nathan Munro and was born at Elbridge in 1826. She was married to Major Burnet in 1846. Her brother, Allen Munro, was mayor of Syracuse in 1854. Her husband, Major Burnet, gave Burnet park to the city in 1856. He died in 1889. Of her six children, only one survives, Moses B. Burnet.
