DEATH TAKES OLD RESIDENT IN 90TH YEAR
Mrs. Robert Townsend Passes Away at Her Home in James Street.
Mrs. Robert Townsend, 90, died early this morning at her home, 440 James street. She has been ill several months and died of infirmities brought on by old age.
She had been a resident of this city for many years, active in church and all philanthropic work. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Arthur Gordon Webster of Worcester, Mass., and Miss Mary W. Townsend of this city; three grandchildren, Mrs. Frances Ware of this city, Miss Mary Shannon Webster and A. Gordon Webster, jr., of Worcester.
Prayer will be said at her late home at 10 o'clock Thursday morning. Interment will be at Albany. Friends may call Wednesday afternoon.
