The children of Web and Orena Crowder were: Lawrence, Sophia, David, John, Emmett, Hazel, Grace, Tracy, Enos, and Jessie.

Daniel Webster Crowder, son of Whitmore and Eva Kirkland Crowder was born in Dubois County, Indiana June 25, 1875 and departed this life September 27, 1946 at the age of 71 years, 3 months and 2 days, just one year and 27 days after the death of his wife.
In young manhood he was united in marriage to Orena Cooper and to this union ten children were born, 6 boys and 4 girls, two of whom preceded him in death.
He leaves to mourn his departure, five sons, Lawrence of East St.Louis, Emmet of Akron, Ohio, John Tracy and Enos of French Lick, Ind.: three daughters, Mrs. Howard Leonard of Pontiac, Mrs. Herbert Phillips of Indianapolis, Ind. And Mrs. Charles Kirkland of French Lick; two sisters, Mrs. John Johnson of French Lick and Mrs. Win. Hayes of Hillham; 21 grandchildren: 10 great-grandchildren and a host of friends. He grew up around Hillham and moved to French Lick in 1913, residing there until his death which came suddenly Friday morning at the home of his daughter, Jessie, with whom he lived since the passing of his companion.
