Betty Jo Moss Swan passed away November 7, 2000. Born April 17, 1923, in Ryan OK, she was residing in Oklahoma City at the time of her death. After graduating from Ryan High School, she worked in Duncan, Okla. at the Rock Island Refinery and married Robert Perry Moss of Duncan, who preceded her in death in 1977.

Perry, Betty and their daughters lived in Pauls Valley and Ada before moving to Oklahoma City in 1964. Betty married Frank R. Swan in Oklahoma City In 1987. Betty and Frank enjoyed many years of travel, golf tournaments, dinner and dancing with friends. A member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, she belonged to many civic and social organizations including the Revelers Club and Mayfair Club.

Betty is survived by her husband, Frank, and daughters and their husbands, Bob and Dana Moss Hill of Dallas, TX, Ralph and Deborah Moss Wilson of Cushing, OK, and Gene and Angie Moss Matthews of Edmond, OK; six grandchildren, Gina Ritter, Chris Ritter, Robert Wilson, Devon Wilson, Brian Matthews and Jay Matthews. Also surviving are her sisters, Olean Hall of Gainesville TX, and Mildred Bailey of Duncan OK, along with many nieces and nephews. Surviving her also are step-sons and their wives, Rudy and Pat Swan of Harrah, OK, and Bradley and Betty Swan of Newcastle OK; five step-grandchildren and spouses, Trey and Misty Swan, and their son, Gracen, Steve and Christy Swan Slama, Ashley Swan, Craig and Nancy Swan Cuff, and Bradley Swan II.

Interment will be at Rose Hill Burial Park, Patio Mausoleum, on November 10th at 1 pm, with the memorial service at Westminster Presbyterian Church at 2 pm, conducted by Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper Okla. City. Donations may be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church or the American Heart Association in lieu of flowers.
