AUGUSTINE RUBY ROSALIE A resident of Oakland passed away peacefully in her home on November 13, 2002 at age 70. She was born in Washington County, Arkansas and moved to Oakland, CA with her mother, Irene Smith when she was a child. She graduated from Oakland Tech High School and gradually married her beloved of 52 years, Frank L. Augustine. She owned a Breckenridge Bridal Shop and ran the business from 1969 to 1990. She is survived by her husband, Frank; loving daughter, Linda L. Augustine of Castro Valley; grandsons, Mikey L. Berman (age of 12) and Patrick C. Anderson ( age of 12); Aunt Agnes Burrows of Arkansas; cousins- Bill Johnson and Kevin Johnson of Colorado, Judy, Janey, Sissy, and Butch of Texas; closest friends- Cliff and Wanda (late) of Nevada and sister in law, Brenda Augustine of Castro Valley. She is a devoted mother and grandmother who loved to go to the beaches with her grandsons, Mikey and Patrick, and on field trips with Mikey's class. Her favorite hobbies were gardening, taking care of children and bike riding with her family members. She had traveled to Mexico, Africa and Italyk for their 50th year anniversary. She made some contributions to her favorite charity, San Francisco Speech and Hearing Center. She was a caring person who was always there for those who needed her, had a great sense of humor, loved to party with good friends and close families and enjoyed Christmas holidays the most. She will be deeply missed. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 am on Saturday, November 16, 2002 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church at 8800 Fontaine, Oakland.
