JAY COFFMAN
Services for Jay E. Coffman were held at Berkley Park Chapel, Denver on January 22, at 12:30 p.m. Interment was made in the Yuma Cemetery January 23, at 11:30 a.m.
Jay was born on April 6, 1905 at Beloit, Kansas to Lafe E. and Elizabeth Coffman. He passed away at St. Joseph Hospital, Denver, after a long extended illness.
He moved with his parents to a homestead north of Eckley in 1916. Later the family moved into town where Jay finished his schooling.
On April 13, 1930 he married Violet Crabtree. To this union two sons were born, Robert Dewayne and Charles LaVern.
He leaves to mourn his wife, sons, a daughter-in-law, three grandchildren, a sister and her husband, several nieces and nephews, other relatives, and host of friends.
