Mrs. Mary Frances Abernathy Hipp, 71, textile retiree, died Oct. 30, 1993, at Gaston Memorial Hospital. Funeral is 11 a.m. Monday at Revival Tabernacle in Stanley. Visitation is 5 to 7:30 p.m. today at McLean-Bumgardner Funeral Home in Belmont.

Survivors are her daughters, Mrs. Sheila Styers, Miss Hilda Hipp of Stanley; Mrs. Teresa Moore of Killeen, Tex.; brother, Joseph Abernathy of Lincolnton; sisters, Mrs. Dalphia Carr of Gastonia, Mrs. Ruth Tevepaugh of McAdenville, Mrs. Bobbie Richards of Iron Station; stepsons, Randy Hipp of Branson, Mo.; Richard Hipp of Orlando, Fla.
