Sheila was born in Mecklenburg County to the late John H. Hipp and Mary Frances Ab-ernathy Hipp.
She was a Ranlo Recreation Club volunteer and past manager of Kingsway.
She is also preceded in death by her sister, Glenda Hipp, and a grandchild, Briar Avery Pilkington.
Survivors include her daughter, Sonya Skidmore (Jason); sons, Luke Pilkington (Kim) and Gregg Pilkington (Laura); grandchildren, Cassie Smith, Megan Mathes, Ryan Pilkington, Myra Skidmore and Mason Pilkington; sisters, Hilda Hipp and Theresa Moore (Don); and also a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and longtime special friend, Robert Landers.
Memorial Services will be held by the family .
