Last Rites Held for Thomas Andrew Hogan

He passed away Sunday at his Minneapolis Home

Funeral Services for Thomas A. Hogan were conducted Wednesday morning at nine O'clock from St Ann Catholic church with Rev, Father Parkinson officiating. Mr Hogan, a former resident of this village, passed away at his home in Minneapolis last Sunday morning following an illness of six weeks

Born in Covington, Kentucky, in 1870, he came to Janesville with his parents five years later, where he lived until the age of twenty five, when he was united in marriage to Catherine Kelly of Janesville. They moved to Albert Lea where they remained for nine years before going o Minneapolis. To this union three children were born, all of whom survive him, Mrs. Charlotte Nelson of Minneapolis, Leon and Volney.

Besides his children, he is survived by his wife, one brother, John D Hogan of St. Paul, and two sisters, Mrs. James Eustice of Janesville and Mrs. Tim Sullivan of Faribault. The pallbearers were Tom and John Eustice, Thomas Foley, Matt Keeley, James McBride and Thomas Nicholson.

The out-of-town relatives here for the funeral included Dan Handrahan of Rochester, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Chase and daughter Patricia, Mrs Colburn, Mrs. Mike McKowen, Miss Emma Turek, Mrs. Joe Larkin, John O'Toole, and Edgar Walters, all of Minneapolis, Wm. Naughton and Mrs. James Hogan of St. Paul, Pat Mulcahy, Mr. and Mrs. Con Mulcahy and Andy Eustice of Faribault, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Keogh of LeSueur Center, Henry Ruths and son John Kilkennyand Chris Eusice of Waterville.
