She was proceeded in death by her parents Henry Clay and Laura Annie Dockery, brothers; Warner Lee & Conley Emmit Dockery.
Surviving are her husband, Moda Kendrick; four sons: James Swanson Kendrick, Ellwood, Ind., Bernard Faye Kendrick, Church Hill, Sherrell Vernon Kendrick, Grantite Falls, Nc., Howard Clay Kendrick, Nashville., 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren. Three sisters; Maude Harckleroad and Edith Gilliam both of Kingsport; Mollie Thacker of Gate City. three brothers; Lucian Dockery of Kingsport, Areny (Meeks) Dockery of Clinchport, and Brownlow Dockery of Gate City. And several nieces and nephews.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m Thrusday at East Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jack Campbell and the Rev. William J. Kendrick officiating.
