Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Moda (Ona) Kendrick, Church Hill, Mrs. Ira (Mollie) Thacker, Ft. Blackmore, Mrs. Curtis (Edith) Gilliam and Mrs. John (Maude) Hartgrove, both of Kingsport; four sons, Brownie Dockery, Ft. Blackmore, A.C Dockery, Clinchport, Warner Dockery, Gate City, and Lucian Dockery of Kingsport.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Starnes Bluff Church. Rev. Volley Thacker and Rev. Everett Carter officiated. Burial was in the family cemetery.
Grandsons served as pallbearers.
