Jamie Wyatt Chapman, 93, of Inman, South Caroina, passed away Saturday, Sept. 21, 2002 at Rose Crest Retirement Center in Inman.

A native of Madison County, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late James Henry and Rhoda Callahan Wyatt and the widow of Rev. Clarence Elmore Chapman (1908-1987).

She was a member of Inman Mills Baptist Church where she taught the T.E.L. Sunday School Class and was active in the senior visitation ministry for many years. She was a member of Inman First Baptist Church "Walk in the Light Club". She had retired from textiles at the Valley Falls Plant.

She is survived by three daughters, Joyce Walls, Cora Lee Whitfield, Vivian Calvert; three sons, Harold Dean Chapman, Paul Chapman, Everette Chapman; 25 Grandchildren; 43 Great Grandchildren; and 15 Great Great Grandchildren.

She was pre-deceased by a daughter, Ellen Mae Chapman Hardin (1931-1956) and two sons, Charles Chapman and Rev. Richard Chapman.

Funeral services were held will be held Septmber 24, 2002, at Inman Mills Baptist Church conducted by Revs. Jack Hames, Everette Chapman and Heyward Calvert. Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Inman.
