Ada Madora Altman was the daughter of Bradford Henderson and Martha Ann Steele Altman. She married Ira Jasper 'BABE' Pierce in the Altman Chapel, Erath CO., Texas on December 10, 1899.
Children were: Gale Pierce, Jewell, and Ira Jasper,Jr.

Mrs. Ada Pierce Dies at 83
Rites Today at Loraine
SWEETWATER - Mrs. Ada Pierce, 83, resident here past 10 years, died at Pecan Grove Nursing Home here at 8 a.m. Wednesday.
Funeral will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday in the Loraine First Methodist Church. Burial will in Loraine Cemetery, Patterson Funeral Home of Sweetwater in charge.
Mrs. Pierce, a former longtime resident of Loraine, had lived at 1010 Crane St. With her daughter, Mrs. J. R. Richards for several years.
Born Ada Altman, June 23, 1899 in Texas, she was married 53 years ago in Hico, Texas to I. J. Pierce, now deceased.
Mrs. Pierce had been a member of the First Methodist Church in Loraine for many years.
Survivors are her daughter, Mrs. Richards; one son, I. J. Richards, of Colorado City: three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren: and seven nieces and nephews, including Mrs. H. K. Williamson of Big Spring.
