"Services for Mrs. Mary E. Yost, 59, of 131 Second St., West Des Moines, will be at 9 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial in Glendale Cemetery.
"Mrs. Yost, a lifelong resident of West Des Moines and Des Moines, died Tuesday of a heart attack at Des Moines General Hospital. She worked at Johnny's Vets Club. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church.
"Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Rose E. Hunnel of West Des Moines; a son, Joseph of Westminster, California; three daughters, Mrs. Frank Young and Mrs. Ruth Black, both of Jacksonville, Florida and Mrs. Edward Byrnes of Polk City; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Sorensen of West Des Moines, and 21 grandchildren.
"There will be a Legion of Mary rosary service at 7 p.m. Thursday at McLaren's Funeral Home followed by a rosary at 8 p.m."
