Stockwell - Mrs. Loma M. Brooks, 81, of Stockwell, died at 11:50 a.m. Thursday in Home Hospital. She had been in failing health seven years. She was admitted to the hospital in February and entered the Extended Care Unit at the hospital in March. Born at Butler, she had lived most of her live in Tippecanoe County. In 1916 she was married to Hiram F. Brooks, who died in 1967. Mrs. Brooks was a member of Miracle Bethel Church. Surviving are two daughters. Mrs. Thelma Morgan of Stockwell and Mrs. Cecil (Phyllis) Vanderwielen of Lafayette; and three sons, Robert E. and Donald E. Brooks, both of Lafayette, James R. Brooks of Stockwell, and one sister, Minerva Krontz, Waterloo, In.
