THE DEATH OF ERNEST PEARSON:
Ernest Elmer Pearson, 50, of Garrett, brother of Mrs Cora Beerer of 707 Cleveland avenue, died Sunday. The funeral will be held Wednesday, with the service at 2 PM in the first Church of Christ, Garrett, of which Mr Pearson was a member. The deceased, son of Mr and Mrs John Pearson, was born in Butler on April 23, 1892. He was married December 24, 1919, to Irene McCague of Waterloo, who survives him, with 5 children, Mrs Faralee Wetoskey of Fostoria, Ohio, and Mary Maxine, Margaret, John Edward and George at home. Also surviving are his mother, who lives in Waterloo, sisters, Mrs Beerer, Mrs Flora Funk of Litchfield, Michigan, Mrs Loma Brooks of Stockwell, Indiana and Mrs Minerva Krontz of Waterloo, and a brother, John Pearson of the Navy Air Corps. Mr Pearson, who served overseas in the first World War, was an employee of the Baltimore and Ohio railroad from 1921 until his death. He had a number of acquaintances in Elkhart. [Elkhart Newspaper]
