The marriage of Rachel Bailey to Jacob Sedore was recorded on February 19, 1878 at Keokuk Township, Wapello County, Iowa, however Rachel's obituary reports that they married on the 14th.
This is Jacob's second marriage. I do not know if Rachel had been married prior to this. The union of Jacob and Rachel added ten children to the final total of 16 who called Jacob their father.

Rachel is the daughter of Thomas and Margaret P. (Thompson) Bailey. I have no other information on her parents.
