Mrs. Lilla Hagan Sanders, 93, of 81-A Chatham City Apartments died Tuesday at her residence after a long illness.
The Bulloch County native lived in Savannah many years and was a member of Savannah Primitive Baptist Church.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Eloise Sanders Munn and Mrs. Jewell Sanders Allen, both of Garden City, Mrs. Martha Sanders Cook of Savannah and Mrs. Peggy Sanders Rapisardi of Lyndhurst, N.J.; a son, Inman D. Sanders of Savannah; a brother, Wilfred L. Hagan of Savannah; and 11 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral: 2 p.m. today at Lanes Primitive Baptist Church near Stilson, burial in the church cemetery.
