Poor health for several months; critical condition for the past two days: Mrs. Cresentia M. Weintraut, 81, wife of Frank J. Weintraut, R. R. 1, Waldron, Liberty township, died Tuesday at Major Hospital.
Born July 16, 1876 in Liberty township, the daughter of Bernard and Elizabeth Fischer. Married February 23, 1897; husband survives with children: Mrs. Max Beyer, Liberty township; Mrs. Ed Belter, Greensburg; Mrs. Virgil Tull of Fairland; Ira Weintraut of Waldron and Mrs. Henry Fisher of R. R. 1, Waldron. Also surviving are 30 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Mary Weintraut of Cleveland, Ohio, and several nieces and nephews.
Member of the St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church; burial in the church cemetery, Rev. Anthony Seger will officiate. Member of the St. Anne's Altar Society and the Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Murphy Mortuary. (Obit: The Shelbyville News, Oct 21, 1959)
