CHURCH, Louise Hodge, 59, of Floyd, died Tuesday, February 22, 2000 at Montgomery Regional Hospital. She was born in Montgomery County on August 5, 1940 to the late William Henry and Bertie Elizabeth Sartin Hodge.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Church; a sister, Mary Latta; and two brothers, Robert Hodge and James Hodge. She is survived by one daughter and son- in-law, Margie Denise and Richard Clinger, II of Floyd; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis Dean and Donna Church of Christiansburg, John Rodney Church of Vinton; a stepson, Charles Dennis Church of Blacksburg; five sisters, Margaret Fenton of Blacksburg, Patricia Sweeney of Christiansburg, Mae Cromer of Floyd, Lena Brooks of Idaho Falls,Idaho, Isabelle Drinkwater of Crewe; four brothers, Louis "Monk" Hodge of Radford, Preston Harry Hodge, Maynard Hodge, and Arnold Hodge, all of Blacksburg; four grandchildren, Amber Danielle Church, Dennis Sean Church, Brandon Zachary Church, and Tristian Bradley Church. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, February 25, 2000 at 1 p.m. in the Fairview Community Church with the Rev. Jimmie Lee Price and Rev. Noah Underwood officiating.
Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8
