Richard A. Bailey, 58, of Sumner, formerly of Olney, died at 6:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 25, 1996, at Red Hills Healthcare Center in Sumner.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney, with Rev. Mike Baker officiating. Burial will be in Prior Grove Cemetery in Crawford County. There will be no visitation.
Bailey was born Aug. 27, 1938, in Lawrence County, the son of Arthur and Arleen (Saye) Bailey.
He was an oilfield worker.
He is survived by his mother, of Olney; three brothers, John and William Bailey, both of Dundas, and Franklin Bailey, of Greenville, Ky.; and three sisters, Evelyn Novak, of Calhoun, Helen Ladson, of Olney, and Susan Puccio, of Myrtle Beach, S.C.
He was preceded in death by his father.
