He and his twin brother Keith were the first born to Charles & Leieuwen Anderson.

He served an LDS mission in the North Central States, then from 1944 to 1946 he served in the US Navy from which he was honorably discharged. He earned his Bachelors and Masters degrees from BYU. While at BYU he met his wife to be, Ruth Sperry. They were married in the Manti Temple on July 26, 1954.

After retiring from Kaibab Industries where he had worked for 26 years he did what he loved most and that was being a cowboy. From herding cows, fixing fences and anything that included being on the back of a horse. A faithful member of the LDS Church and very knowledgeable abut the gospel and loved to share it with everyone. He will be greatly missed.

Survived by his children, Mariann, Kent and Laurene, 13 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Sisters Rose, Pauline and Barbara. He was preceded in death by his wife Ruth, parents and brothers; Keith and L.Dean Anderson.
