Samuel Bailey was the son of Samuel or Daniel Bailey and Eleanor Wescott. He was also the husband of Charity Gilliland Scott who he married on January 06, 1831 in Greenfield, NY at her father's home. They were the parents of Robert E Bailey, Lewis Scott Bailey, Harriet E Bailey, Ruby M Bailey, and Marion Cook Bailey.

that Samuel is indeed the son of Samuel Bailey and Eleanor Westcott Bailey.
There are several Samuel Baileys and Samuel Bailey Jr's around, but I think they're all descended from Titus Bailey.
