Mrs. Iva Milby Akridge, 68, widow of Leslie Akridge, former merchant and postmaster at Hudgins, died Mon. [9 Jan 1956] at the Metzmeier Nursing Home in Campbellsville. The daughter of the late Mr. J.N. Milby and Mrs. Malinda Milby, she was born in Green Co. 27 Jan 1887. She was a member of the Oak Forrest Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She is survived by 4 brothers, O.G. Garnett, C.O., and Roy Milby, all of Greensburg; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Tues. at Oak Forrest Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Rev. Richardson in charge, assisted by Rev. V.A. Jones. Burial was in the Wilson Cem. Pallbearers were Bruce Milby, Foster Milby, Lucian Milby, Walter Randal Milby, Adair Donan, Elbert Donan, O'Connell Milby and John Douglas Milby.
