Mrs. Frank Freeland of Valley Falls Dies
Mrs. Jane Belle Freeland, wife of Frank H. Freeland, Valley Falls retired farmer, died last night at the home of her son Frank J. Freeland.
Funeral services will be held at the Calvary Baptist church in Valley Falls, of which she was a member, at 2 p.m. tomorrow, the Rev. John Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Effingham cemetery.
She was born near Valley Falls, July 2, 1885, a daughter of George and Anna Erwin Uncapher and after her marriage lived for 40 years in the Coal Creek community north of the town. Six years ago she and her husband retired from the farm and moved to Valley Falls.
Besides her husband and son she is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Edna, Seevers, Effingham; Mrs. Metta Binkley, Valley Falls; Mrs. Freda Miller, Tulsa Okla., and Mrs. Rosella Hefty, Arrington; four sisters, Mrs. Mae White, who lives in Pennsylvania; Mrs. Josie Hamon, Holton; and Misses Edith and Ella Uncapher Valley Falls; a brother Bert Uncapher, Valley Falls, and 15 grandchildren.
