FREDERICKSBURG — Ruby Virginia (Lotts) Ott, 93, widow of David J. "D.J." Ott Jr., died Monday, July 4, 2011, at Greenfield Assisted Living residence in Fredericksburg. She was born Feb. 23, 1918, in Raphine, a daughter of the late Erskine and Venie (Wiseman) Lotts.

Prior to retirement, Mrs. Ott was employed by West Virginia University Hospital.

She was a member of Olivet Presbyterian Church in Staunton.

In addition to her husband, who preceded her in death May 22, 1999, she was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.

Family members include a daughter, Betty Trigger and her husband, Tom, of Fredericksburg; a daughter, Anna Ott and her companion, Frank Cataldi, of Stafford; a sister, Iva Myrtle and her husband, Marvin, of Spottswood; a grandson, Jeffrey Trigger of Fredericksburg; a granddaughter, Laura Driskell and her husband, Bryan, of King George; and one great-granddaughter, Madisyn Driskell.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, July 7, 2011, in Old Providence ARP Church Cemetery in Spottswood by the Rev. Harry Johns
