Funeral services for Mrs. Lillie Mintz Harkins, 94, who died Sunday at her home in Canton following a long illness, were held today in Wells Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Horace L. Smith officiated and burial was in Bon-A-Venture Cemetery. Pallbearers were her grandsons and nephews.

Mrs. Harkins was a native of Henderson County and a resident of Haywood County for many years. She was a charter member of First Baptist Church of Canton.

Surviving are the husband, Charles M. Harkins; two sons, Ed of Canton and Vincent Harkins of Pasadena, Tex.; two daughters, Mrs. E. B. Gibson of Marion and Mrs. F. H. Lydanne of Washington, D. C.; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
