Bader, Mary Jane (Linstrom) 1928-October 22, 2009. Age 81, preceded in death by her husband Louis (1979) and son Steven (1988). Survived by Stuart (Yvonne) of Littleton, CO; sister Mabel of Newcastle, WY; and daughter-in-law Linda (Bader) Miller of Safford, AZ. Her grandchildren are Amber (Scott) Cromwell, Lucas (Sara) Bader, Nate (Stephany) Bader, Jacob Bader, and Michaela Bader. Great grandchildren include Taylor, Sydney, Christian, Ella, Carter, and Ian. Mary Jane was born and raised in Sturgis, S.D. She came to Colorado to go to nursing school at St. Luke's and met her husband, Lou. She and Lou raised Stu and Steve in Thornton, CO. In 1980, Mary Jane re-located to Arvada, CO, where she lived for 29 years. As a retired pediatric nurse, Mary Jane was nominated for a Florence Nightengale award. She was an active volunteer at the Arvada Center, in the altar guild at Christ the King Episcopal Church, and with PEO. She remained active within her community in the senior center Silver Sneakers exercise group, playing mahjong with a weekly group, and participating in a birthday group with her friends.
