Stu, who was employed by Evergreen Parks and Recreation for 12 years and then Denver Parks and Recreation for 28 years, passed away on Oct. 9, 2016. He was married to the love of his life for 44 years, Yvonne. He was a passionate Colorado High School Football Official for nearly three decades, active in Marriage Encounter with Yvonne for 36 years and volunteered with a local food pantry. He treasured time with family and friends, outdoor activities and all things CU. In all the ways that Stu gave of himself, his legacy will live on. Survived by his wife Yvonne; children Amber (Scott), Nate (Stephany) and Michaela (Dade); and grandchildren Sydney, Ella, Carter, and Ian. Funeral Mass will be held Friday, October 21 at 10:30am at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 6673 West Chatfield Avenue, Littleton, CO 80128. Published in Denver Post on Oct. 19, 2016
